STATEMENT ONE

Spirituality and Prayer

We will grow in our practice of Prayer and Spirituality, nurturing strength for our witness that God is calling us to do by regularly meeting for prayer, reading and studying the Bible in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Bible Study groups will happen and we will encourage everyone to be part of them.

Prayer Life - Encourage Thursday morning group, Wednesdays at Immanuel and before morning service on Sunday, and on the hour prayers.

Reconnect with our church plant at Sunrise- develop affiliate membership

Arrange different prayer opportunities, prayer walks, prayer market, Labyrinth on the beach. etc. including Sunday morning. What is a prayer market?

STATEMENT TWO

Identity

Immanuel Church will be a church where every member of the congregation will be able to say who they are, what they do and why they do it.

Immanuel church will be a church where everyone is welcomed, established in Christ and built up.

STATEMENT THREE

Christian Ecumenical Partnerships

We will be more confident in our identity, valuing the treasures of our tradition, discerning when to seek ecumenical partnerships, and when and how to further unity of the church.
