Behind the Scenes of Our Children's Cooking Club!

On Tuesday, we held our first volunteer session for the Children’s Cooking Club! Our amazing team came together to learn more about the project, their roles, and what to expect when sessions begin next week.

Since our volunteers will be busy supporting the children during sessions, this was their chance to step into the children’s shoes and get hands-on in the kitchen! They had a fantastic afternoon team-building while baking delicious cookies, which were then shared across Immanuel Church’s ministries – including Memory Lane, Wednesday Friendship Club, The Men’s Shed, Old Time Music Hall, Jubilatte Café, and our soft play sensory room.

Not only was it a great way to connect our ministries, but it also helped us spread the word about this exciting new project. A huge thank you to our volunteers - we can’t wait to get started! ❤️🍽️
