Wellbeing 120
A safe place where it’s ok not to be ok
In Partnership with Renew Wellbeing
Every Tuesday
10:00am - 12:00pm
With 1 in 4 of us experiencing mental health issues, Wellbeing 120 offers a safe, shared space where you can find welcome, peace and connection.
Safe, shared spaces.
Wellbeing 120 is a safe, shared space
where those who are struggling with
their emotional and mental health
can come and find connection and
community. It’s a place where
all can feel included, and welcomed.
Find peace and community
When you arrive at Wellbeing 120, there's a warm welcome, and a cup of something. Hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate or whatever you fancy. There's always something nice to eat too. On the tables there are a variety of activities from colouring, to puzzle books, to a craft activity. Maybe knitting or crochet, origami or woodwork and beyond. Please feel free to bring your own hobby and share it with others.
5 Ways to Wellbeing
Our space is created around the 5 Ways to Wellbeing - Well respected research suggests 5 activities that promote wellbeing are:
* Connect
* Be Active
* Take notice
* Learn
* Give
All of our activities are planned with these 5 ways to wellbeing in mind.
A quiet space
At every Wellbeing 120 session, we open and end the session with a prayer time. We believe that a quiet time of prayer is deeply good for our wellbeing, and so we invite you to join us in the Prayer Space for a short prayer time.
There's no pressure to join in, if you'd rather not that's absolutely fine. If you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, the quiet prayer space is there throughout the session if you need to retreat to somewhere peaceful.
