Join us for an engaging evening discussion group where we explore the foundations of our faith. This is a space to deepen your understanding, ask big questions, and uncover the “why” behind what we believe as Christians.

This is a new venture for us at Immanuel Church, in which we are aiming to get the discussion going about our beliefs. Not just looking at the surface level and saying I believe this because that’s what I was told but asking the question Why.
To do this we are inviting you to come along and discuss what you understand about a different topic each month. If you don’t think you know anything, come along if you feel you know a lot, come along. This is a space we are opening to get the conversation flowing about our beliefs. It does not matter your Church background the key is to come with a heart to learn and grow.
How is this going to work I hear you ask? The way we are doing this is by getting around tables with a drink (tea/coffee/soft drink) and discussing a topic. This will give us the baseline of where we are starting. Then to give us more information we will be listening to video clips of theologians or preachers talking about the topic. This will be followed by a discussion about the changes if any this has had to our beliefs.
The aim is to get a discussion started as to why it is we believe something and what we believe about it. The aim is to ask the big questions that we may not ask on a Sunday morning.
The only requirement I have is that you come ready to learn, share and grow together.
